This year, on the 6th of August, we hosted our 3rd Annual Waterfall City Half Marathon. With over 5000 registered participants, the city of Waterfall was filled with jubilance as entrants lined up to take part in the 5km, 10km and 21km distances.

This year’s prize money amounted to R70000 and was spread across different categories which included runners and walkers.  one positions in the 10km male and female category.

Lucky Mohale and Lebo Phalula won the 21km male and female category both winning R8000 plus an additional R2000 each for beating last year’s records. Kabelo Seboko and Lebogang Phalula-Luthuli took the number

We are very proud of our accomplishment in selling out entries for our race and are grateful to all race participants, sponsors, support crew, Waterfall City Athletics Club members and everyone who assisted us in promoting the race, helping us make this year’s half marathon a huge success!
